This is a stunning Wakmann triple date from the 1960s. This vintage watch is driven by a Valjoux 730 which was a specialized Valjoux calendar movement based on the famous Valjoux 72. At 37mm in diameter, it offers an exceptional wrist feel and it's sporty panda dial makes it aesthetically pleasing. In great condition over all with light marks to the case/crystal consistent with age and use. The matte black dial and white sub-dials have patinated nicely. The pictures make it appear that their is a black smear on the cream outter ring but there is not. The face and date numerals are in very good condition. This watch also has the original hands and crescent date 4th hand which is more appealing than some others. Screw back case and signed crown. This watch sports 19mm lugs and includes 3 quality straps. A red handmade 19mm leather strap. A NEW 19mm handmade imported gray/brown suede strap with Italian leather/suede, French Lin cable, and Swiss buckle which costs $128. This strap has the best vintage look because of its tapering from the lugs to the ends. Hard to see on pics but really compliments well. Also a Tan 19mm Buffalo perforated rally strap. I got many compliments on this piece and hate to let it go as it is the best watch I've ever owned. All functions are operating as they should. The chronograph runs flawlessly and the hands snap back on reset. The day/month and date pushers work as they should as well. I will answer all questions and thank you for looking.
