This is a rare find, Little use evident, serviced by Master Clockmaker Feb 2017.The case has a front cover and a dust cover under the back cover. The inside back cover contains a mfg notation Warranted U S Assay 14326. It also contains a dedication script on the Dust Cover "Mary Elizabeth Smith a memento of her father Dec 2, 1879" . The Back Plate shows the name of the mfg AM Watch Co, Waltham, Mass.and the model as "Royal".The gold amount is estimated as 39 grams/25 pennyweight. With this watch in such good condition and recently serviced it is surely worth more than than the gold value.
