I am pleased to offer the following vintage timepiece from the firm, the men's DATALARM 17 jewel model that dates to early 1960s and is in excellent condition. The model name speaks directly to this watch's unique combination of a date aperture and an alarm function - unusual for most vintage alarm clocks of the period.A very nice example of a classy Angelus "Datalarm" wrist alarm watch, this iconic model from the early 1960's has in its original state .It is in excellent condition and ready to wear or join your collection. The large [39mm counting any of the two crowns] and thick [12.50mm]The stunning dial and original hands gently cleaned and the movement has been serviced. The plexi glass is used but in good conditiones. Please scroll down the listing for many photosThis lovely chronograph is fitted with  a very rare and pretty bracelet with logo of anchor !I have some photos with the logo anchor and the seal that has the bracelet. You can find them below! It measures 40mm lug tip to lug tip and 37mm in width (39mm with crowns). Its original 17 jewel, Caliber AS 1568 manual wind Swiss mechanism with twin mainspring barrels and it's smoothly while keeping accurate time and running well but....as for vintage watch can't guaranty for accuracy ! I dont know when the watch has last been disassembled completely and given a proper service. The two-tone blue/black dial is in excellent vintage state. It features a 60 second inner chapter (almost worn out of time and use), raised silver hour markers, original silver steel hands, DATE window at the 3 position, white with red peak finish arrow tip alarm hand and 'sweep' original silver Seconds hand. Signed ANGELUS below the 12 marker and DATALARM above the 6 marker. The hardened acrylic crystal is in excellent used vintage condition. The case is solid stainless steel and the case is in excellent vintage shape. There are two stainless steel crowns on this watch. The bottom crown winds the watch and sets the time like a conventional crown would do. The top crown is used to wind the alarm and adjust the alarm hand. To "set" the alarm you pull the top crown out. This alarm function works great folks and it buzzes nicely!Turning the watch over I see that the back is stainless steel with a separate screw-down steel ring.It is in used vintage condition with light and stripes. It is stamped:-STAINLESS STEEL, WATERPROOF - ANTIMAGNETIC - SWISS MADE - 15/11 B.Please note that like any vintage watch of this age you do not want to get it wet, treat this watch like regular dress watch.Unscrewing the separate bezel ring reveals a clean and higher-grade, 17 jewel manual wind mechanism. It is stamped 17JEWELS, SWISS with the caliber number AS1568 below the balance wheel (for A. Schild). This caliber was produced from 1954 to 1970 (with modifications) and the original specifications show it having a 46 hour power reserve and a frequency of f = 18000 A / h.Http://www.ranfft.de/cgi-bin/bidfun-db.cgi?10&ranfft&&2uswk&AS_1568The watch has mechanical lever movement and manual winding with 17 fine ruby jewels.
