This is an 18k rose gold Ulysse Nardin Maxi Marine Chronometer 266-66. It has an alligator leather strap with a Ulysse Nardin rose gold push button double deployment buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a protected screw-down winding crown, and a solid case back secured with 6 screws, engraved around the polished perimeter with "ULYSSE NARDIN – 200 METERS – MARINE CHRONOMETER – 266-66." In a brushed center medallion are engraved the 18 Internationa l gold medals won by Ulysse Nardin from 1862 in Neuchatel to Lausanne in 1964. The 41mm diameter solid three-body case, curved screwed lugs, and angled cupped coin-edged bezel are polished. There is a serial number plate screwed to the left-side case band. The dial is silver with large applied rose gold Arabic numeral hour markers, luminous dot indices around a perimeter satin minute ring, and there are blued fancy lancet spade hands with luminous round and diamond indicators. There is an oversized recessed gold-rimmed small running seconds register at 6 o'clock with blue numerals and railway-style scale, with "1846" in red letters, and an incorporated magnified circular date aperture at 6 o'clock. There is a gold-rimmed up-and-down 42-hour power reserve subsidiary dial indicator at the 12 o'clock position. It has a Certified Official Superlative Chronometer rating (COSC), and it's water resistant to 200 meters/660 feet. The 12.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Ulysse Nardin Maxi Marine Chronometer 266-66 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Ulysse Nardin caliber UN 26 movement. It's rhodium plated, and it's constructed with 28 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance, and a self-compensating flat balance-spring. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz). The Ulysse Nardin Maxi Marine Chronometer 266-66 was introduced in 2010.
