Very Rare early cylinder watch movement by the great Thomas Mudge and Dutton London c1760. Mudge and Dutton were among the finest English watchmakers in the golden age of Watchmaking. Mudge is credited with inventing the lever movement. This beautiful movement has been re-cased in silver consular case London hallmark for I think 1809.
