Beautiful Lady Elgin 18K gold pocket watch in case with keys.   SN# 176260.  10 size.  11 jewels.  The watch is not running.  I have taken to a watch repairman who estimated the gold pennyweight at 25 for the case, and 1 for the gold rim of glass, total 26.   He did not remove the movement from the case and used an estimate of half the total watch weight. Current value of the gold at 80% of scrap value is $46/dwt so the gold scrap value alone of this watch (case and glass rim) is estimated to be $1196. There is a beautiful engraving on the watch of a lady holding a lamb next to a lake with many trees.  The watch has been in the family for years, and the case has a label inside that appears to say Mineburgh, Utica, NY (hard to read), and is probably the jeweler's name and where it was bought originally.
