LeJour Chronograph. Up for auction is a super cool looking LeJour Chronograph, Triple signed by LeJour Watch Co. Manufactured in Switzerland, Produced circa 1970s. Hard to find in this condition, many re-lumed and lack the warmth of this example. I spent a long time looking for one in this condition when I bought it a few years ago. I held out until I found this one, and jumped on it because of the perfect gloss dial and the yellowed warmth of the perfect lume dots. It features a 37mm (excluding crown) x 46mm stainless steel circular-shaped case with stainless steel screw back, ultra high grade mechanical with manual winding Valjoux caliber 72, original (not refinished) gloss black dial with luminous dots, outer tachymeter, round pushers, rotating bezel and large lapidated lugs. The Crown sets and wind smoothly, chronograph function working and resetting to zero, movement running strong and keeping good time. CASE: Stainless steel, fairly sharp, with stainless steel screw-down case back, round pushers, original black rotating bezel. Width, 37mm (excluding crown)lug end to lug end 46mm. 19mm lug width. DIAL: Original gloss black with luminous dot markers. Flawless ? any marks in pics are actually just reflections on crystal. Steel hour/minute hand, 60 seconds, 30 minute, 12 hour register, outer minutes chapter and red tipped sweep steel chronograph hand. MOVEMENT:Swiss made Valjoux cal. 7733 manual-winding chronograph (17 jewels) . Signed: on dial, case and movement.CRYSTAL:Acrylic plastic, only superficial scratches, would look brand new with a little Polywatch.Shipped internationally with insurance (ask for a location-based quote) or pick up in Melbourne, Australia.
