The Glycine Watch Company was founded in Bienne, Switzerland, in 1914.  In recent years it has specialized in classic aviator and diver watches, establishing an enviable reputation.  I purchased new  this spectacular example of their work back in the early 21st century, when I was doing work on the subcontinent—my other GMT watches could not accommodate India-Standard-Time’s ½-hour asynchrony with the rest of the planet.  This imposing watch (53mm by 11mm)  handled the challenge with aplomb—each of its three independent ETA automatic movements is separately set to any time you choose.  The watch actually handles a fourth time zone—the local-time dial also has a settable 24-hour pointer (as well as a small date).  I’ve only worn the watch for my few multi-time-zone trips, so it has plenty of life in it, and is running and winding well and keeping good time.  It is quite clean—just a few micro-scratches on the polished sides of the case.  The watch is fitted with a heavy black-rubber strap & Glycine-marked tang buckle.  The watch will ship with its original velvet-lined wood box, an extra (& unused) black-leather strap, instructions, & original-owner warranty card.
