For sale is a limited edition timepiece from the Weiss Watch Company (Los Angeles, California). Only 100 pieces were made and the watch was sold out long time ago.This watch is numbered 100 of 100!The movement is Swiss-made and the watch is assembled in the U.S. with the dials, case, and sapphire crystals made in-house in their studio. The watch comes enclosed in a pine wood box with instructions and warranty card. The watch has been sporadically worn and is in great condition and in perfect operating order. The watch is still under warranty.The Weiss Limited-Issue Field Watch uses a locally-machined single piece of stainless steel for the case and case back, which is individually polished by hand. Sapphire crystals adorn both the front and the back of the case, allowing you to peek into the Caliber 1001 movement. They use Swiss parts for the mechanical movement, which are hand-finished and assembled in their Los Angeles workshop. Features include Super-Luminova paint on the polished silver hands, single-piece naval brass dials, 20mm lugs, and water resistance up to 330 feet. The Dark Blue model comes with a natural-colored leather strap made by Horween, America’s oldest operating tannery. Dial is 42mm.Weiss Watch Company is proud to offer a mechanical timepiece built in the USA. Each fully mechanical movement is a manually wound Caliber 1001 comprised of over 100 Swiss parts that are hand-finished and assembled in Los Angeles, California. The case and caseback are machined from one solid piece of stainless steel and polished individually by hand. Sapphire crystals are used on the front and back of the case for strength and durability and display our highly finished movement inside. Dials are machined from one solid piece of naval brass and have been hand painted for maximum legibility. Each Special Issue Field Watch is supplied with a handmade genuine Horween leather strap with contrasting stitching. The Special Issue Field Watch is a limited production timepiece built by hand.
