ITEM DESCRIPTION: We are so happy to offer this gorgeous Touchon 'EXTRA' marked Top Grade Pocket Watch in 18K Solid Gold Open Faced Case. This pocket watch is very special in that it has the famous Touchon Ultra-Thin Movement that measures only 2mm thick. It was one of the best and most elegant Ultra-Thin watches from the 1910-1920s with super large center ruby jewel and marked EXTRA with 19 jewels & 8 adjustments. It can be said that this model of Touchon Ultra-Thin pocket watch was comparable to Patek Philippe / Vacheron & Constantin / Audemars Piguet watches of that era in every regard. The watch was originally made for retail for Shreve Treat & Eacret of San Francisco and thus the name on the dial, the case serial numbe matches the movement. Condition-wise the watch runs well but we have not serviced it or timed it so there won't be any guarantee on timekeeping accuracy or longevity. Cosmetically the dial is original but there is discoloration. The dial is done in radium style of the Art Deco period, along with radium-style hands it is very classy looking. Total weight is 43g. All items are required to include insurance in which the cost will depend on the ending value of the item. By nature of the transaction we reserve the right to declare full value on customs. Less secure shipping methods can be requested by the buyer where the buyer will assume all responsibility if the shipment is damaged, destroyed, lost, or anything bad happens to it.
