This fantastic 1940's vintage Gallet chronograph is another outstanding watch from the depths of my collection. It is an authentic and beautiful vintage watch in excellent condition that has obviously had very little wrist time in its 70 year life. The solid stainless steel oval shaped case is 30mm in diameter without the crown. It is in excellent condition with no major dings, dents or scratches. The silver dial is original and in good condition with some spotting visible in the blown up pictures. All 5 hands are blued steel with no signs of corrosion.The crystal is flawless. The Excelsior Park 42 caliber movement is correctly signed and has no signs of bad repairs or corrosion. It runs strong, keeps time and the chronograph feature functions correctly. The watch comes on a new high-grade padded and stitched black genuine leather strap. This is a beautiful and fantastic vintage watch in excellent condition.
