Up for sale is this very fine 1918 Elgin 12 size model 2 pocket watch. The 12 size model 2 movements was stretched to fit 16 size cases, so this watch is larger than most 12 size Elgin. It is a 14k solid gold case marked Roy 14k 585 fine silver on the front and back covers, the dust cover is not marked but has been tested to be 14k as well. The whole case is gold no fillers. The dust cover has a presentation front 1918 and the watch has a serial number of 20743193 dating it to 1918. This watch has a 15 Jewel movement that is running well and keeping good time but service history is not known. This watch is 48.3 mm in diameter and weighs a total of 67.7 grams.
