Up for sale is this very, very fine and exceedingly rare 1885 Jules Jurgensen Copenhagen Bow Set Chronometer Pocket Watch.This is a very rare high grade watch I purchased a few years back at a local estate auction here in Mobile, AL. This watch has run great until about a month ago when I went to wind it, felt like the mainspring broke. The watchmaker says the mainspring is fine, but the Arbor broke and he could not fix it so here it is for sale, a very worthy project for a watchmaker who has or can cut an Arbor for this wonderful watch. This watch has the original case, dial, hands, and movement all numbers matching with the serial number of 15795. The dial has two hairlines one from the 1 to 4 position very very faint and one from 10 to 2. The balance is great nice tru pivots and straight hairspring. Like I said it ran excellent until the arbor broke. The 18k Gold case is in fine unpolished condition free of any dents and all the openings have a very tight snap. It measure 45.8 mm wide and has a weight of 75 grams. The case without the movement is 39.5 grams. I would never even think of selling it for scrap so if you have that in mind forget it!
