Mens Vintage Waltham 65  Selfwinding  Incabloc  35mm x 38mm (with crown) x 45mm (lug to lug) and 19mm lugs  stainless case with original stainless steel mesh expandable bracelet and original case  Tested for 24 hours - still running and keeping time, service and timing is strongly recommended since last date of service is unknown   I don't know when it was last serviced.  I can not guarantee that it will stay running without being cleaned and oiled. In the 60's and 70's various watch companies participated in the "jewel wars" -- they loaded up certain "elite" or "high-end"models with as many jewels as they could either justify (by technical means) or "get away with" to make their offering look superior to their competitors offerings. Some of these efforts were "meaningful" ... adding more cap jewels, jeweling various arbors not normally jeweled...some efforts were somewhat marginal ... adding jewels to rotor hubs - really does make for a quiet auto-wind operation!! ... but may not really reduce friction more than the typical metal ball bearing laden rotor hubs...some efforts could be considered trivial .... adding jewels to the rotor "travel path" to inhibit "rotor scrape", etc.I have no technical details on the Waltham 65 Jewels from experts anywhere, but the pictures here seem to indicate that the vast jewel count was accomplished with a similar strategy in one area - jewels in a ring around the movement plates which are intended to prevent "rotor scrape"... THE WATCH HAS 65 JEWELS - VERY GOOD USED CONDITION WITH SOME SCRATCHES AND ORIGINAL MESH BAND. Please read all of the listing to avoid any confusion of what is being sold! SOLD AS IS SO PLEASE NO RETURNS ON VINTAGE-USED WATCHES! HOWEVER IF TITLE SAYS RUNS THAT MEANS IT RUNS. SHIPPING BY 2 DAYS PRIORITY MAIL WITH TRACKING # IN USA. GLOBAL EXCHANGE WITH TRACK # VIA eBay TO OTHER COUNTRIES! Thank you.

I sell mainly USED vintage watches and therefore have not been checked for timing accuracy unless stated, even though watch may be running - it may keep time well or it may need cleaning which is always recommended on mechanical watches to do annually even if running fine.  Most of my items have BEST OFFER which is different than auction format. I will usually wait a day or two to see if any other REASONABLE offers come in before deciding on accepting or declining it so please be patient. If you really want something please let me know by making a REASONABLE best offer or at least place it on your watch list. 95% of deadbeats I've experienced have 0 feedback so PLEASE NO NEWBIE BIDDERS WITH ZERO FEEDBACK FROM OUTSIDE USA WITHOUT PRIOR AUTHORIZATION BY EMAIL OTHERWISE YOUR BID IS SUBJECT TO CANCELLATION! A SIMPLE EMAIL OR QUESTION SUBMITTED IS SUFFICIENT.
