Very fine 14kt Goldsavonette of watch manufacture Union Glashütte in Saxony to 1900 with original - box and certificate. Plant No. 55562, case No. 55562, diameter 53 mm, weight 98 g. Steel 14 k polished gold, a goutte, in the cover marked "Uhrenfabrik Union Glashütte in Dresden", spring cover. The housing is in very nice condition. Two-part email dial with Arabic numerals and small recessed seconds. Signed. Louis XV gold hands. The dial is also very well preserved. 3/4-plate movement, grained, gold-plated, goldchatoniertes minute wheel, gold screw compensation balance wheel, regulator spring regulator, gold anchor, gold anchor wheel. Blued screws. Crown lift. Works with "Glashütter watch manufacturing Union" signed. The clean works perfectly. Overall, the clock is in very nice condition. Watch manufacture Union Glashütte: 1874 founded Johannes Dürrstein in Dresden the watch Großhandlung Dürrstein & co established a trading network in Europe, already he took over the sole distribution of Adolph Lange in Glashütte 1874. 1 January 1893 Johannes Dürrstein the Uhrenfabrik Union, founded to offer i.S Glashütte to cheaper watches on the market. Dürr stone died in 1901. After his death, only his brothers and later his widow took over the leadership. During the Weltwirtschaftskriese in 1926, the company went into bankruptcy.
