Elgin Pocket Watch size 16, 14k gold hunter case, serial number indicates circa 1890, 7 jewels. Total weight of watch is 113 gm. The case is app. 48mm across. Lever set, stem wind, dial is good condition and looks to be a modern replacement. Crystal is also in good condition and looks to also be a modern replacement. The watch runs well and has a beautiful soft tick, I call it a voice as each has it’s own sound. The hands are dainty and straight. This watch is a wonderful example of American made quality. I am not a pocket watch expert but will be happy to answer any questions that I can. These watches are from a private collection. Please see my other listings or follow me for more to come.
