An absolutely incredible mid-century 18ct gold clamper-cocktail watch.With a concealed clock face (working) made from 14ct gold.Dating from the late 50s to the 60s....There are 29 diamonds totalling approximately 1ct. All very bright, clear and white.And cabochon turquoise stones (all present and in excellent condition) The latch mechanism works well, as does the safty latch which is tight and secure.The piece that covers the watch face is a little bit loose (not the hinge) and doesn't "snap" as tightly as it should when closing. This can be fixed very easily and quickly by a working jeweller. The piece is hallmarked 18kt and marked with a copyright symbol and what looks like van c..... unfortunately I can't make out the rest of the marking.The bracelet weighs 81.8 grams on my gold scales.If you would like any other information please do contact me.
