This is a Hamilton Ball, 23 Jewel, 16S, Model 998 Elinvar Two Star Railroad Pocket Watch. It is in a 10K gold filled case with no initials. This beautiful Railroad watch serial number is: B649264. Year of production around 1940.I am listing this as "Near Mint" condition because of some minor faint marks on the back of the case (see pic). The crystal face of the watch is in perfect condition. The watch mechanics appear to work beautifully. Please view all pics as they are part of the description of this watch.I inherited this watch from my father who collected high grade Railroad watches. I will admit I do not know a lot about Railroad watches, but I will try and answer any questions that you might have.
