For sale Witschi Chronoscope S1 watch timing machine and ac adaptorTECHNICAL DATA  (description from user manual - supplied in digital version that can be printed out if necessary) Measuring possibilities: rate deviation, beat error and amplitude of mechanical watches. Diagram of the beat noises.   Beat number: automatic selection of all common beat numbers. Manual selection of any beat number in the range between 3’600 to 43'200 b/h.  Determination of an unknown beat number.  Gain control: automatic. Manually adjustable (4 levels) for watches with stray or unusual beat noises.  Diagram: presentation on a LCD graphic display. Resolution: 240 x 128 pixels. Time scale: selectable from 1 mm/ms to 10 mm/ms. Recording speed: depends on the beat number, 0.5 mm per watch beat.  Visible diagram length: 120 mm    Measuring time for numerical results: automatic or selectable from 2 s to 240 s, which corresponds to the time of 4 intervals, i.e.  28'800 = 0.5 s, 36'600 = 0.4 s. Continuous renewal of the average values every 2 s.  Display on the screen of the evaluated part of the measurement diagram.  Rate measurement: numerical display in s/d. For it the software AutoPrint (available as accessory) is needed.  Second RS232 port for the connection of a PC or the Witschi GPS receiver.  Time base: high frequency quartz time base, OCXO.
