Wakmann vintage triple date chronograph. I believe the guy from the Dos Equis commercials wears this watch - it is undefeated. Born in the 1960's and equipped with the hand wound Valjoux 730, this Wakmann chronograph has a reverse panda dial and its size of 40 mm with the dial hits the sweet spot of size and fits the wrist as well as any watch I've worn. Any collection of vintage chronographs demands one of these as a cornerstone. Perhaps that is why you see so many for sale on this marketplace, I digress...She shows her age but not in defect or neglect, but in depth and in spirit. The triple date function(s) are spot on and run as well as any watch I own. Affixed to this watch in the photos is a vintage leather rally band that is unused and is included in the sale. Perhaps it is not necessary for me to drone on about what a fine addition it is, perhaps it is reviling and it triggered the gag reflex of an entire time zone - sorry - I find it fitting and pretty radical and that's that.As with my other listings, this vintage Wakmann chronograph is sold as is and I encourage questions as returns are not accepted. I purchased this watch from a well known and respected vintage watch dealer online and, along with all other watches I have listed, has been verified authentic by those qualified to do so, which although I am wonderful, I am not an expert despite years of untold amounts of time and money (not to mention enjoyment) in learning, wearing and living the art of the timepiece. I am not a retailer, flipper, wholesaler, shape-shifter, etc. I am a wanna be collector who is listing a sad majority of the his most treasured vintage chronographs in an effort to fund a "grail" vintage chronograph.
