Universal Geneve COMPAX #884-420 Chronograph

Universal Geneve is one of the fine Swiss names. This is a mechanical Chronograph with a Lemania 1873-based movement, heavily modified and decorated. The COMPAX is highly regarded for accuracy and durability. This watch is 99% of new. It has virtually no wear-time. ONLY reason for sale is that my eyesight is failing and I need watches with larger dials and hands. Runs perfectly. Never opened, polished, molested. Complete w/boxes. Universal Geneve COMPAX watches are climbing in value quickly. The last sale on Evilbay of an identical watch was $1694 and that watch needed a mechanical and cosmetic overhaul. An identical watch in lesser condition is currently listed on Evilbay and enthusiast sites for $2500, and that watch has been well-used, buffed-up and a non-original strap. This watch needs nothing. Sorry for the crappy pictures. They do NOT do this watch justice. It could easily pass as new. Pics of movement are stock pics, NOT mine. I will not open mine up and wreck the seal.  I am the ORIGINAL owner, has never left my possession. This is NOT a buffed-up beauty.
