18K - E. HOWARD - GOLD FLASHED DAMASKEENED - THE HIGHEST GRADE - Serial 24326 - 15j KW/KS OF Gold flashed is, in fact, a seldom found grade. This is a flash damaskeened 5/8th [??] plate with a full complement of screwed down jewel settings. The balance is in good order and the watch is running with a swinging in a full arc. Blue screw heads and steel bright work in good condition. The top plate, per se, is faded, the consequence of exuberant cleaning. The Wheeler Parsons case 18k is in good sound condition with the hinges do not over extending. The cuvette is clean, in and out and with the back, open and close appropriately. Engine turning and sculpting very well preserved. This watch is made special by the personalized dial spelling out "JENNIE L FLINT". The letters in the seconds bit could be "DIRGIE" which This is not a ladies watch. I suspect that this N size watch fulfilled the role of a photograph of his beau carried in his wallet.
