A LITTLE HISTORY : This was originaly made for golfers to wear as a belt buckle watch to leave their hands and wrists free to play. Unique and rare watch, manufactured with Cyma movement, square silver dial with arabic numeral fancy blue steel hands small second dial at 6 o clock position. Very rare early case the " HF and PALLETE " mark is the mark of Huguenin Freres of le locle switzerland, well know as jewelers watch case makers. They were one of the most well known producers of Niello cases throug hout the art nouveau and art deco erasbut also produced many others designs of watch cases. The crescent moon and crown is the german hallmark for imported silver. The standing bear is the Swiss mark for export siver 0.935. Original glass. The shock resistant tecnology was not yet invented and the hard shockfron the golf club hitting the ball would mess up wrist watches, so golfers would wear this watch as a belt buckle.
