Description Victorinox Swiss Army Airboss Automatic Chronograph Stainless Steel Mens Luxury Watch Model 241621. This watch features a brushed stainless steel case and bracelet with a push-button deployment clasp, Silver textured dial, Silver tone & luminous hand indicators, sweep seconds hand, Silver tone & Luminous Arabic Numeral hour markers & Black Arabic Numerals, Military time display around the center of the dial, Scratch resistant sapphire crystal, Date display at the 3 o'clock position, Transparent case back, Swiss Automatic movement, ETA Valjoux 7750, 25 jewels & an approximate 44 hour power reserve. Water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet. As all of our other watches, this Swiss Army Airboss Mechanical Gents watch is BRAND NEW and comes with the original box, warranty card and papers. Victorinox Swiss Army – HistoryMaster Cutler Karl Elsener opened a cutlery shop in Ibach, Switzerland in 1884. Seven years later, in 1891, Karl supplied the Swiss Army with its standard issue Soldier’s Knife. After the death of his mother in 1909, Karl Elsener introduced the brand name Victoria and the iconic Cross and Shield emblem is registered as a trademark. With the advent of stainless steel, Karl Elsener coined the company’s name, Victorinox, by combining his mother’s name with “inox”, an abbreviation of the French word for rust-resistant steel, “inoxydable”. After World War II, the “Original Swiss Army Knife” began its successful progression around the world and enjoyed exceptional popularity. In 1989, Victorinox entered the timepiece business in the United States under the brand name “Swiss Army”.
