Exquisite and exceptional pocket watch with ¼ repeater of the Danish watchmaker master urban Jürgensen dating from around 1820. Exceptional case made of gold-plated bronze. Dust protection cover with engraved urban Jürgensen and serial number 506. Glass in good condition with intermediate sanding and small, age-typical scratches. Email dial in very nice condition with Arabic numerals from 1 to 12 and small brand "urban Jürgensen" at the bottom. Three blued Breguet hands. Decentralized second. 20½ lines movement with ¼ repeater and double wheel duplex escapement. Trigger of the repeater trigger in the counterpart. Repeater with two hammers on two gongs. Gold plated lever escapement movement with blued screws. Balance brass, without compensation, blued steel spring. Double wheel duplex escapement with two stacked gears, one made of steel, the other made of brass. The clean movement runs flawlessly. The Watch has a diameter of 58mm, weight 152 g.
