large elaborate 1767 english pair cased turkish market verge fusee

outer case measures a large 64mm diameter not including the box hinge ~ cases appear original to the movement & are hall marked for london silver 1767 ~ case lock / button are in good condition ~ tight bow & the pendant still twists a bit ~ clear glass high domed bull's eye crystal ~ deep blued steel beetle & poker hands ~ enamel dial with turkish numerals is is nice condition with no hairlines ~ signed William Dunant ~ London who i have listed as being active prior to 1760 ~ slightly faded LON in london on the dial ~ the fire gilded movement is sparkling & is in the nicest condition for a verge i've seen in a long time.... very ornately pierced & engraved ~ very elaborate ~ also signed william dunant ~ london serial number 3543 ~ large ruby end stone in a deep blued steel setting that matches the screw heads ~ turkish numerals on the regulator ~ very ornate pillars ~ in good running order running the full length of the chain though i have not checked it for timekeeping ~ key set from the front / key wind from the rear (if you need a key please request one prior to shipping & i will happily fit one up for you) ~ for it's about 250 years it is in really nice condition certain to please the enthusiast to enjoy! please ask questions and resolve issues before you place your bid reserve? no reserve here! so if you like it you better place your bid now before it gets away! thanks for checking out my listing and if you are into watches please check out my other & you might want to keep a half-an-eye on my upcoming listings as i am liquidating a long time watchmaker's estate-whilst i continue to span the globe for unique and exotic items to bring to your door!
