Up for bid is a men's Vintage Girard Perregaux Gyromatic Watch 39 Jewels 1950s - 1960s. This was a very high end watch in its day. This was an estate find and the previous owner has taken great care of the watch. Dial – all original gorgeous patina dial. Not refinished. It also has wonderful patina on the hands. Additional great detail is the date window numbers, they alternate from blue to red.
Case – two-piece Girard Perregaux Swiss Made all stainless steel. The case is 40mm lug to lug and 33mm across, not counting the crown.
Movement – Girard Perregaux Swiss Made 39 Jewel Automatic movement. The watch works sets and keeps time in short periods. It will stop working and needs a shake to get it going again. Its an old estate find and will need a servicing in order to function correctly.Strap - It comes on a high end light brown Hirsch leather Strap. Watch comes with the original box.
