This 100% Swiss Made Armand Nicolet LS8 Limited Edition (999 pieces worldwide) Manual Winding watch (Black Dial) on Alligator Strap is in absolute Brand New Condition. The watch is 100% brand new and unworn, and it will come with all the boxes, hanging tag, instruction manual, limited edition certificate, warranty card, and gift receipt dated March 2017 from Armand Nicolet authorized dealer. As an avid watch collectors, I am handling all kinds of watch ranging from mid to ultra-high end on daily basis ($5000 to $25000 range), in my opinion, if you are in the market for a in-house movement skeleton dress watch with highest quality craftsmanship, I dare to say this watch is offering you the highest value/price ratio in the current watch market, period. In my opinion, if you are looking for an ultra high end dress watch with extremely refined movement, inevitably, you will look at Blancpain Villeret, Lange 1815, or GP 1966. However, even the least expensive Blancpain Villeret, GP1966, or Lange 1815 will cost you north of $10000. Luckily, there is much cheaper alternative to these two watches, that is Armand Nicolet L10 series. I detailed compared Armand Nicolet L10 with my friend's Blancpain Villeret, GP 1966, and Lange 1815 under the microscope, my final conclusion is that the finishing and craftsman level between the AN, Blancpain, and Lange are very close, and AN L10's overall finishing level is slightly higher than GP 1966 ($10000 watch). For under $1400, I think limited edition Armand Nicolet L10 is a steal, period. The equipped genuine alligator strap has such high quality, which alone worth more than $450. The equipped Movement is the Swiss manual-wind AN710A, which is derived from a FHF 72 (Fabrique d'Horlogerie de Fontainemelon) caliber produced in 1960. It has 17 jewels, 21,600 vph and a power reserve of 34 hours. It is finished with Perlage, and the bridges are decorated with Surface Vagues and gold engravings. Rediscovered, refurbished, decorated and sympathetically modified, the vintage movement is complemented by the pure and classic design of the Armand Nicolet L10.In my opinion, the overall finishing and craftsman level of this watch is the highest level Swiss Watch Manufacturer achieved for watch under $20000, so for under $1400, I think this watch is a steal, and the only thing Armand Nicolet lacking is the marketing. The list price of this watch is $4290, and at less than $1400, I don't think you can find a better valued Swiss Made skeleton watch with in-house movement in today's watch market.
