The word "Replica" in the model name of this authentic Eberhard Chronograph refers to an original line of 1930's Art Deco style chronographs which Eberhard supplied to the Italian Royal Navy. Model No. is 36008, S/N is 1331. The mechanical hand-winding movement and every other feature of this watch is Eberhard's attempt to reproduce the beautiful and classic style of those years. This line was introduced in 1982. The watch has a plaque d'or (sometimes called vermeil) case, using 0.925 Silver plated with 20 microns of gold. Plating is intact. The crown is original. The pushers are flattened and elliptical in shape. This is a small watch, suitable for either men or women, approx. 33mm in dia., without crown, and approx. 37 mm with crown. The dial itself is approx. 28 mm. in dia. and the watch is approx. 10mm thick. The back surface of the watch bears model and serial number, maker's marks for a plaque d'or case, and "Chronographe Suisse".  This watch is still beautiful, with a mint condition white porcelain dial with multicolor glass enamel touches. The case, movement (a very clean, high grade 17 jewel chronograph rare caliber 1873) and dial are triple signed. The watch was recently serviced, runs well, and all timing and chronograph functions operate as they are supposed to. The watch is fitted with a quality black leather band, non-signature, which shows few signs of use, and a non-signature yellow gold color stainless steel deployment clasp, . This watch comes with an Officina Del Tempo polished black hardwood box, but no papers. This watch is Guaranteed authentic despite the model name.
