For sale is a rare Eberhard & Co full calendar moon-phase chronograph, with all functions working properly, in fine aesthetic condition, from a 1990s collection replicating the watches which the company supplied to the officers of the Italian Royal Navy in the inter-war years.Dial: Rare enamel dial; blue date ring (white pointer hand with gold crescent marker); red seconds ring (1/5 seconds marked for black chronograph hand); black Arabic numerals; black hands; signed "Eberhard & Co Chronographe Swiss Made"; 12 hour chronograph counter at 6 o'clock encircling moon-phase indicator; 30 minutes chronograph counter at 12 o'clock encircling day and date slots; 24 hours indicator at 9 o'clock with gold hand encircling 60 seconds counter.Case: rare vermeil case - entirely .925 sterling silver with 20 microns of 18 carat gold plating; double hinged case-back with an outer cover engraved "Eberhard & Co SA La Chaux-de-Fonds 1887 Argent 3500" with a picture of the company's HQ; inner dust-cover engraved with various hallmarks (as with inside of outer cover) and 36018.Movement: signed "Eberhard & Co" (Valjoux 7761 base calibre).Strap: signed "Eberhard & Co".Buckle: gold plated; signed "E & C".Box: beautiful original walnut effect soft lined box signed "Eberhard & Co Suisse".
