Very nice A.Lange & Sohne Glashutte solid 14k yellow gold pocket watch. The original, high quality double sunk dial is absolutely stunning and has no cracks . The movement is perhaps the cleanest and prettiest I have seen and it is running well. The case measures 53mm and is very thick and heavy weighing 96.7 grams including movement. All hinges and bale are nice and tight. The front and back cover have some scuffing(very light hairline scratches) a good buff and polish would clean it right up. Other than this, there are no scratches or dings. All covers close with a firm snap, evenly and flush all the way around. The inner covers look great. The time has an interesting setting feature where you move the lever on a slight angle upwards and proceed to set the hands. When finished setting, simply press the button on the pendant and then you are ready for winding, which is another show of how clean this watch is by just how smooth and thorough the clicks are. It is triple signed as it should be, dial, case and movement. The lip where you open the dust cover has a small portion that was slightly damaged from a jeweler or watchmakers knife which I only mention for full disclosure purposes. After observing it for a couple hours where it seems to be keeping time, though we cannot guarantee accuracy on any of our antique timepieces and would always recommend a service for optimal results.
