Being offered is this vintage 18K Yellow Gold Minute Repeater Perpetual Calendar Chronograph Pocket Watch for repair. Circa 1900, the watch is not running, but complete. It runs for a bit and stops. I had a watchmaker estimate the repair to run approx. $1100 including cleaning and service. White enamel dial with blued steel hands with black indications for running seconds, day, date, month and aperture for phases of the moon. Some hairlines on the dial. The very heavy 18K yellow gold hunter case is marked in 3 places "0.755 - 18C - 11930" with Swiss hallmarks. Total weight of 135.6 grams. Some minor dents and dings on the case. The chronograph button and slide in the band to activate the repeater. The fine nickel 32 jewel movement (estimated) jeweled to the hammers and the center. Stem wind. The case is engraved with initials on the back of the case, and "PRESENTED TO F.W. WALTER BY J.W.BURRELL - MARCH 1900 - A TOKEN OF REGARD AND ESTEEM" (see photos).
