Up for sale here is a very rare vintage Cyma Watersport chronograph, circa 1940sVery rare model from the 1940s using a very large and unusual "clamshell" case Original silver dial with a nice even patina and ageingLarge 38mm "clamshell" stainless steel caseA watchmaker has opened this watch in the past, therefore I know the details of inside are as follows:17 jewel Valjoux calibre 22 manual wind movement, signed Cyma and numbered.The case is numbered and has patent number insideCase width measures approx. 38mm exc. the crownThe watch runs and the chronograph appears to start, stop and reset as it should. Its timekeeping accuracy is untested and not guaranteed.The case is in generally very good condition just with some light scratches as expected with age.
