Absolutely spectacular!!!! Sums up this watch. For the true collector looking for the needle in the haystack of Railroad Pocket watches. Experts believe that fewer than 500 model 351 Lord Elgin movements were produced. When it was introduced in 1905/06 the movement alone (no case) was selling for as high as $255. This amount was equal to the asking price for a Waltham Premier Maximus with case. The watch presented here is one of the hardest American made prestige models to find.
Nickel 3/4 plate, straight line damaskeening, 23 jewels, adjusted five positions, safety barrel, raised gold jewel settings, jeweled barrel, black lettering, Hunter and Moseley micrometric regulator, engraved gold flower frame around the balance jewel, damaskeened winding wheelsMontgomery dial has one visible blemish between 29 & 30. Case is 12K yellow gold filled and shows no brassing or damage.PLEASE ASK ANY QUESTIONS PRIOR TO PURCHASE. THERE HAS BEEN TOO MUCH BUYERS REMORSE LATELY. WE HAVE 100% POSITIVE FEEDBACK AND ALWAYS WANT OUR CUSTOMERS TO BE SATISFIED, BUT CANNOT ACCEPT RETURN ON REMORSE ANYMORE. BETWEEN EBAY LISTING FEES, FINAL VALUE FEES, AND PAYPAL FEES WE LOSE 15% RIGHT OFF THE TOP, SO PLEASE ASK ANY QUESTIONS YOU MIGHT HAVE PRIOR TO PURCHASE.
