Up for auction  this true rarity and beauty: a highly collectable antique pocket watch in a fancy 14k solid rose-gold hunting case 16 size, manufactured around 1900 by Union Watch Co. in Glashütte, Germany. The case has  deep rich rose-gold (pink gold) color and feels heavy and substantial.  The condition is excellent for a watch being  more than hundred years old. This big 51mm and heavy 103g timepiece is all-original. All three hinged covers are solid 14k gold and hallmarked so. They close tightly and precisely. One of the outer lids have a couple of small dents, other lids are absolutely clean. This  watch  has some special presentation engraving  on the inner lid from 1900. The case and the movement have the same serial number. The light-gold dial is just a beauty with it's classic Arabic numerals design, oversized seconds sub-dial and blued "Spade" hands. The center of the dial is highly engraved and looks striking.

The genuine Union Watch Co. 3/4 plate high-grade movement is still clean and bright, winds  smoothly, running strong and accurate. It was just freshly serviced and overhauled by a certified watchmaker. The watch conveniently opens by pushing a button on the nice onion-shape winding crown. To set the time, push a tiny lever under the front bezel, then turn the crown. To disengage time setting just push the crown. This highly collectible timepiece would be a smart financial investment, always raising its value.
The photos have been taken of the actual watch offered for sale. No box or papers are coming with the watch, but I guarantee its authenticity. Some history of the Union Watch Co.: On 1 January 1893 the company Dürrenstein & Comp. was founded in Glashütte as a factory to produce Glashütte precision watches. As early as 1880 Dürrenstein, in preparation of an own watch production, introduced pocket watches of the brand name "Union" (Glocken-Union). The product range consisted of simple ladies and gentlemen pocket watches, complicated watches, tourbillons, and pocket and marine chronometers of the highest Glashütte quality. J. Bergter was technical director, Emil Leutert worked as regulator.   * US customers will receive the watch fast and securely, with no import fees or taxes.
