Their will was to be part of the great Swiss watch making tradition, while meeting the demands of men facing extreme situations. Nowadays astronauts, pilots, divers, or bomb disposal expert use Bell & Ross watches as tools used for their missions. The featured describe watch is the Bell & Ross Aviation BR01- 92 STC Turn Coordinator in Stainless Steel PVD/DLC coating measuring 46mm x 46mm in diameter, Fixed Stainless steel bezel coated in black PVD, Automatic self-winding movement Caliber ETA 2892 -21 jewels, Power reserve up to 42 hours. Display is a Black colored Dial with White Arabic Numerals hours on outer dial and minute markers on inner dial in 5 minute intervals with seconds hand in innermost dial, Steel White hands hours and minutes markers, Hours, minutes and seconds. 3 black concentric discs. The marking on the outside disc indicate the hours, the middle disc the minutes and the central disc turns at the rhythm of the seconds. Black PVD with stainless steel crown, scratch-resistant sapphire glass, Black Rubber strap with tang buckle. Water resistant up to 100m or 330ft. Display and caseback legend signed. Although I am not a Pilot, I can truly appreciate the design elements and functionality of these watches. They are sleek and wearable, distinctive looking and well built. The BR01- 92 TURN COORDINATOR watch is inspired by aircraft cockpits, where each part is a reference in terms of legibility, reliability and performance. The display of the BR0192 TURN COORDINATOR recalls the graphics of the reference instrument, the Turn Coordinator. This model displays hours around the outside of the dial then moving towards the center, minutes and finally seconds. These three time components are split into individually rotating discs and thus the time display is always visible at the 12 o’clock mark.
