A Beautiful piece well over 100 years old. This watch has a very nice heft and smoothness in the hand, the kind that only comes from a quality piece, a long established trait of fine English craftsmanship.Having a round silver engine-turned dial with a chased silver and yellow-gold scrolling foliate field with rose-gold, black hands with an iridescent blue shimmer.Roman numeral hour chapters and subsidiary dial; attached by a gold-filled watch chain (not original). Movement unsigned and numbered 25601.Case impressed WC. Possibly William Comyns, London, Circa 1870Case and Cuvette numbered 25601Total gross weight: 124.4 dwtDiameter: 54mmLength of chain:12-3/4 in (32.4cm)Condition: watch ticks for a few seconds when wound,may need repair or and internal adjustment.Hour and minute hand slightly bent, minor scratches to the case and crystal.
