Rare French Silver Pump Quarter Repeater Pocket Watch - Giroud & Fils - Lausanne c.1830This listing is for a rare silver quarter repeater pocket watch by Giroud & Fils, Lusanne, France circa 1830.In excellent condition and perfect working order. Chimes the hours and the quarters. The watch has a solid silver case which is in excellent condition for its age. Engine turned decoration on the back with very little wear. Hinged cuvette signed "Giroud & Fils, A Lusanne"High quality French verge fusee movement in great condition and good working order. Runs smoothly for the full lenght of the chian, keeping good time. The pump repeater works perfectly chiming the hours and quarters with loud clear chimes.The original white enamel dial, blue steel hands and domed glass are also in near perfect condition. A wonderful French verge fusee repeater pocket watch. The watch measures approx 55.5mm across and weighs 135 grams
