Très rare modèle de montre commémorative pour le centenaire de la Déclaration d'Indépendance des Etats-Unis d'Amérique (rédigée en Juillet 1776). Mouvement sale mais fonctionne à ce jour, il est dans son "jus". Beau boitier en métal entièrement décoré (type savonnette).
La forme particulière des ponts découpés sous la forme 1776 fut imaginée par le célèbre horloger Henry O.STAUFFER en 1876 afin de commémorer le centenaire de la Déclaration d'Indépendance des Etats-Unis d'Amérique. Nice metal case fully decorated. The trim above the mechanic as a particular shape as it represents the number 1776 cut in the metal (Year of the Declaration of the Independence of the United States) and was imagined by the famous watchmaker Henry O.STAUFFER in 1876 to celebrate the Centenary of the Declaration of the Independence of the United States.
