This is a high quality, 75 gram stainless steel cased, manual movement (Unitas 6498) handwound Swiss watch with a beautifully finished decorative view of the back of the movement through the display back. Eberhard is a world renown Swiss manufacturer widely known in Europe and the largest selling higher end watch in Italy. The dial is clean and clear, white, with arabic numerals at each hourly station, with a small second hand at the 6 o'clock position. The back reflects the watch's model number (20201VZ) and serial number (0618), as well as the word "vitre" (for the mineral glass back) and "3 atm." Hands are needle pointed and stand out nicely from the face. The dial has optimum legibility at night, with both numbers and hands covered with Tritium. Power reserve should be about 60 hours. The screws visible through the display window are blued and polished, blue and golden engravings show the company's name and the watch's name, and all bridges are decorated with fine perlage. The SS case is large, with a dia. of 43 mm. The case back is secured with 8 screws for an original water resistance to 3 atm. when sold (not recently checked). The crown, embossed with an E, is large and easily gripped for winding, and has no sharp edges. The watch comes with a nice wooden box showing the Eberhard house on the top. There is a velvet pillow inside the box to which the watch straps. This is a simple and uncomplicated hand-winding watch which hardly needs a user's manual, so the box holds only a guaranty card and no user's manual. The leather band is signature Eberhard, light brown or tan, with tan stitches along the length on both sides and a padded center between, of obvious quality, with only the most modest signs of wear. The band is 20 mm at each end and is fitted with a "E&C" tang signature buckle. This watch looks new, and is pristine. Shipping is free.
