Robert Roskell Liverpool 18k gold ornate pocket watch c. 1825.
This is an opportunity to acquire an outstanding example of Roskell mature output, and typically of the masterpieces that made him one of England's leading watchmakers.
The watch is running well and has been fully serviced and certfifed as of 2017. Accord to the watchman it is in incredible condition for being 200 years old.
This comes from my family ancestors and was my great great grandfathers watch who migrated from Liverpool, England in the mid 1800's, on my mothers side the Shuttleworths.
It had been sitting in a jewelry box for the last 30 years and was uncovered when my father passed away last June.
We hate to part with this amazing pocket watch but know there is a collector that will take good care of this piece of history!
