For your consideration a rare Eberhard & Co. single-pusher (mono-pusher) chronograph in stainless steel powered by a Valjoux 22 caliber. Most Eberhard chronographs from this period were larger in diameter, pushing upwards of 40 milimeters while this rarer version is 36 milimeters, a size most vintage enthusiast consider the Goldilocks Zone. The watch will come with a distressed brown leather NATO strap. Most Eberhard chronographs also functioned with 2 pushers yet this rarer single-pusher version was often preferred by users (mostly pilots and military men) because of faster, and therefore more accurate measurements. All chronographs weren't made this way because single-pusher chronographs are more complicated and therefore more expensive. This chronograph is also made of stainless steel, by far the most popular choice for vintage enthusiast for it's versatility and which are becoming more and more difficult to find. The original dial is a beautiful tri-color dial with a BlueTachymeter Scale, for measuring speed, a Red Telemeter Scale, used to calculate the distance and the black hour and minute measurements. I've tried taking as many pictures of the dial in different angles and lights to show glossiness, elevation of the printing and the steps in the chronograph registers, if you would like some more, please don't hesitate to ask.The watch is running keeping decent time and the chronograph starts, stops and resets to "0"as it should. Since this is a vintage piece, there will be no guarantee on perfect time keeping. Previous service history is unknown. There is a scuff on the crystal around the 6 o'clock mark and the case has some blemishes. I have not touched the watch in any way to alter it from it's original condition; I will leave it up to the new owner to decide whether to polish, buff, etc.If you have any questions or doubts please feel free to reach out. The watch is available for inspection in the South Florida Area. I have sold many watches on Ebay and have 100% positive feeback, please refer my feedback page. Happy bidding!
