Originally, the company designed and produced jewelry and everyday items such as sunglasses which were then sold in a boutique located in Geneva. Gruosi introduced the use of black diamonds into many of his designs, which at the time was very unusual. With the success that followed he was quickly able to open boutiques in London, Gstaad, Rome, Paris, St. Moritz, Kuwait, Moscow and Hong Kong - all within the first five years. It wasn't until the year 2000 that Fawaz developed his first watch collection for de Grisogono, the Instrumento No Uno.                     The featured watch is a Swiss Quartz Precision, Stainless Steel de Grisogono Instrumentino N01/B. The ladies Instrumentino generously proportioned 29 mm case with its fully cambered, wrist-hugging profile takes its cue from the design and dimensions of the Instrumento No. Uno. Aesthetically understated yet coolly assertive, its generous dimensions include a square bezel and with Diamonds decorating the lugs. This piece comes in polished Stainless Steel with a second timezone and gorgeous design. The black dial with luminous indexes and hands with superluminova is stunning with its guilloche finishing and unique design. Completing the piece is a Stainless Steel de Grisogono bracelet with a hidden butterfly deployment buckle and it is water resistant up to 100 meters.                     Personal Note--The very first watch for de Grisogono, the watch set the standard for the now highly successful brand. This piece is truly unique and more gorgeous in person... The square case is perfectly curved to fit your wrist with real comfort and the guilloche finishing on the dial makes this piece stand out.
