Very rare memento mori skull pocket watch from 1800s.This watch was made under the influence of vanitas art.It is a product of professional openwork(ahore) and engraving work.Unique "live and dead" storyline.In the front of the silver skull its a dead motive engraving-Death stood between poor and rich houses.On the back side its engraved the motive for the beginning-Adam and Eve.
The case has silver stamps inside.Very good cosmetic condition.
