I am very pleased to be offering for sale this very elegant antique ladies cocktail watch. As you can see, this watch was made in very desirable Art Deco style. It features a platinum case (marked on the interior as shown) decorated with french cut sapphires (16) and diamonds (24) as well as a sapphire crown. The watch has a 17 Jewel manual wind Concord movement and is currently in running order. The watch has a period elasticized band, the markings on which indicate that the upper/exterior caps on the band are 10K (white) gold filled, while the interior which rests against the wrist is stainless steel. The watch case measures approximately 33mm vertically (from lug to lug) and 18mm across, including the crown. I would say that the watch is in very good condition given its age and use, with minor soiling to the dial visible under magnification, and an inscription on the underside of the case. That being said, I think you will agree that if you are looking for a working, stunning antique Art Deco platinum, diamond and sapphire, this is an excellent option!
