This is a vintage mechanical wristwatch dating to circa 1960. This is beautiful, clean, and in very good, original condition. It reminds me a good deal of a 1950s Rolex Submariner I had at one time. It is apparent that Zodiac made this model to compete with the early Subs. It is quite rare to find a Seawolf with the solid 10k gold bezel ring like this one. This has not been polished or restored and it retains it's original patina with some wear and minor scratches. It would restore quite nicely if the new owner chose to do so. I believe everything on this watch to be original with exception to the crown which may or may not be original. The watch runs well and keeps time. The time sets as it should. The date advances properly. Occasionally, it will only advance half way, but a gentle tap advances it the rest of the way. This movement has a hack set feature that works properly. The case is stainless steel and 10k yellow gold and it is about 35 mm wide not including the crown. It is about 43mm long to the tips of the lugs. The movement is a Zodiac 70-72 and it has jewels. The bracelt is stainless steel and gols plate. It is original to the watch but it does have wear to the gold. This will fit a large man's wrist (about 8 inches around) and can be adjusted smaller. The crystal is clean and clear and has no scratches. The Tropical dial is very nice and is depicted accurately in the pictures. Please note that all pictures are taken on the macro setting.
