GENT'S BALL ENGINEER II MASTER DIVER AUTOMATIC CHRONOGRAPH WATCH with DAY/DATE Model Number: DC1028C Although listed as being USED, it is in excellent, virtually mint, condition.  It was fully serviced by BALL six months ago and has never been worn since.  It is part of my personal collection which I am now selling.    It is complete with the box and documentation. Solid stainless steel case with the original high grade black rubber strap.  The crown is screw-down. The case is 44mm in diameter excluding the crown and pushers.     Black dial with the day and date display by the 3 o'clock position. The hands, arabic numerals and markers have Ball's unique and patented micro gas tubes for night reading that are 100 times brighter than markings using luminous paint. The three sub-dials display the chronograph minutes, chronograph seconds and real-time seconds.  The centre sweep hand registers the chronograph seconds. The lower pusher also has a knurled crown which rotates the inner bezel.    The watch is anti-magnetic to 4,700A/m and also has an anti-shock system.  Water resistant to 100 metres (10ATM/BAR).  This is one of the few chronograph diver's watches where the chronograph function can actually be used at a 100 metre depth! Scratch-proof sapphire crystal. ETA Calibre 7720 automatic chronograph movement. BALL WATCH COMPANY was established by Webb C Ball in 1891 to provide accurate time-keeping for the US railroad system.   The company later moved to La Chaux-de-Fonds in Switzerland.   This superb quality and great looking watch exemplifies the Ball Watch Company mission statement "accuracy under adverse conditions".  The retail price of these watches were £2,810.
