GENT'S BALL with BMW AUTOMATIC CHRONOGRAPH CHRONOMETER (COSC) WATCH with DAY/DATE Model Number: CM3010C-S5CJ-BK Limited Edition Number 272 of 1000 These watches were made as a Limited Edition of 1000 to commemmorate Ball's 125 year anniversary and BMW's 100th anniversary. Although listed as being USED, it is in fact brand new and has never been worn. I purchased it directly from the Ball Watch Company in January 2017 for my private collection. There is still over 18 months left on the guarantee. It is complete with the box and all documentation. Solid stainless steel case and stainless steel bracelet. The crown is screw-down. The case is 44mm in diameter excluding the crown and 16mm thick. The bracelet has not been adjusted and will fit a wrist size of up to 21cms. In addition, a spare link is also included (I obtained an extra link directly from BALL). Black dial with blue accents and tachymeter scale. The day and date display is by the 3 o'clock position. The hands and markers have Ball's unique and patented micro gas tubes for night reading that are 100 times brighter than markings using luminous paint. The three sub-dials display the chronograph minites, chronograph hours and real-time seconds. The centre sweep hand registers the chronograph seconds. The watch is anti-magnetic to 4,700A/m and also has an AMORTISER anti-shock system which is another unique Ball developed and patented system. Water resistant to 100 metres (10ATM/BAR). Anti-reflective scratch-proof sapphire crystal. Ball RR1402-C Calibre 25 jewelled automatic chronograph movement that is officially certified as a chronometer by the Swiss COSC. BALL WATCH COMPANY was established by Webb C Ball in 1891 to provide accurate time-keeping for the US railroad system. The company later moved to La Chaux-de-Fonds in Switzerland. This superb quality and great looking watch exemplifies the Ball Watch Company mission statement "accuracy under adverse conditions". Only a few of these watches are still available from Ball watch retailers and they are priced at around £4,400.
