We are pleased to offer this antique, very rare WWI period, gorgeous, unique 18K solid gold hunter case pocket watch. The watch belonged to a German officer in the First World War. It may have been a military reward, unfortunately there are no inscriptions to prove this. All 3 covers are made of solid gold, both rear dust covers are marked. Different inscriptions are engraved on the back of the inner cover.The porcelain dial is very nice, hours are Latin numerals, minutes are modern. Under the second arrow is placed a German iron cross, under the main arrows is the Order "Blue Max" and at the top - iron cross. The watch works perfectly, it is cleaned and serviced, the glass is real, it's not plastic, when winding one of the wheels jumps, but it's not a problem.
The little adjusting/reset button works, the clock adjustings fine. The watch comes from a old large private collection and represents absolutely collectible value and can be a wonderful gift for yourself or your loved ones. Material : 18 K solid gold.
