Up for sale is this stunning 18 kt gold Wristwatch band from a great estate. It is segmented into 4 registers. Each refers to a different country via it's flag. They are distinguishable by the applied enamel on top of the gold. The 4 countries are USA, Mexico, Cuba and Columbia. It look like it has never been used. The length is 6 " without a watch.. The width is 3/4" at the widest. It weighs 40.2 grams. It is signed V 18 kt B. VB? It is unbelievably high quality. This gold piece is very rare and one of a kind:probably custom made. It came from an extremely sophisticated estate. I suspect that this is a tour de force by Scandinavian artist Volmar Bahner. Mr Bahner worked in enamels but usually in silver. It was probably made for someone heavily involved with USA, Mexico, Cuba and Columbia. The family had copious amounts of fine jewelry:mostly gold.
